We use USPS (United States Postal Service) Priority Mail to ship orders within the US. International customers also have a range of FedEx services to select from. US destinations receive complimentary shipping on all orders through this website. If you have specific shipping requirements, please feel free to contact us.
As all Barrett Alley products are made by hand, often each item is made to order. Therefore please allow a few days for shipping after you place your order. If the items you order are in stock they usually ship the next business day after you place the order. When you place your order online, you will receive a confirmation email that your credit card has been authorized including information about your order. Then, once your order has shipped you will receive another confirmation email from the carrier. If there is any anticipated delay in your order we will notify you immediately.
Shipping Times - US:
USPS Priority Mail now typically takes 2 business days to arrive to US destinations. Contact us for availability of rush services.
Shipping Times - International:
We recommend FedEx for all international orders. FedEx's shipping options are the fastest and are also fully trackable. Rates are usually in the $100 - $150 range, depending on service level and destination. FedEx also typically moves through customs faster than government-run mail services. Current rates are provided on the checkout page.
USPS Priority Mail Express International
USPS Priority Mail Express International typically takes 3 - 5 business days to arrive to destinations outside of the US. Customs processing in your country may add additional time to this estimate. Limited tracking services such as shipping and delivery confirmation may be available to select countries. As of December, 2013 the rate for most USPS Priority Mail Express International packages is about $50. The most current rates will be provided on the checkout page.
USPS Priority Mail International
USPS Priority Mail International typically takes 2 - 4 weeks to arrive to destinations outside of the US. Please note that this estimate may be slightly less or more depending on customs and postage delays in your country. As of December, 2013 the rate for USPS Priority Mail to most international addresses is $23.95 (Canada is $19.95). The checkout page on this website will provide the most current rates. USPS is now introducing limited tracking capabilities to some countries for Priority Mail.
International customers are responsible for all taxes (such as VAT) that may apply when receiving goods from overseas.
Returns & Exchanges
When you receive your product if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for an exchange or refund within 30 days. Please ensure that the item has not been used and is in original condition and that you return your order with a copy of your online sales receipt. If you are requesting a refund, the method of payment you used to place the order will be credited. Due to the nature of custom and personalized items, they are not returnable or exchangeable.
Part of the beauty of a natural vegetable tanned leather product is that it ages and transforms over time, changing in color and conforming in shape to the natural habits of its owner. Exposure to natural elements like sun, water, and oils from the wearer's skin will soften and darken the leather, and small blemishes, scrapes or stains will blend in to the natural grain. These changes are considered desirable as they increase the character and uniqueness of your Barrett Alley product.
All Barrett Alley products are carefully designed to withstand years of use and are guaranteed for life. If a Barrett Alley product ever breaks under normal wear and tear, please return it to us and we will be happy to replace or repair it.
